Meet
Marco
Marco Tacandong is a dancer/choreographer/instructor from Jacksonville, FL. He has been dancing for 10 years, and has had the pleasure of learning from various choreographers such as Ian Eastwood (Young Lions), Vinh Nguyen (Kinjaz), Kyle Hanagami, Brian Friedman and many others. He started dancing Hip-hop by watching videos of dancers he looked up to and emulated them. His ballet, modern, and jazz training started at Fletcher High School’s dance department for three years. As his love and curiosity for dance grew, he continued his training at FSCJ where he became a part of the Dance Repertory Company, danceWORKS and became a student manager. Marco is currently attending Jacksonville University for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. He is also a proud member of a Jacksonville Hip-hop/Urban dance crew called WreckLess.”

Crystal
Entering her sixth instructional season at Fabulous Footwork, Mrs. Cabral has been dancing since she was 4 years old and has participated in over 20 recitals. Her dance experience includes pointe, classical ballet, ballet showcase, tap, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary. She trained at the Virginia Dell School of Dance in Jacksonville, FL and participated in Classical Ballet and Contemporary Jazz while attending Florida State University. Some of her favorite dancing roles include “Anna” in The King and I, “Cornelius Hackl” in Hello Dolly, and “Ms. Hannigan” in Annie. She is a “BCHS Drama Hall of Fame” member with 10 years of community theater experience, with experience in performing, and developing choreography. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a 4th grade teacher at Keller Intermediate School. Currently, she teaches Ballet 3, Ballet 4, Pointe, and Ballet Showcase at Fabulous Footwork. In 2019, Ballet Showcase earned their first Platinum Award at competition for their classical ballet routine.
Meet
Delaney
Delaney Blume grew up in Orlando, FL. She began her dance training at the age of four, under the direction of Gaymarie Tomlinson at Studio 5D. Here, she trained heavily in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop, among other styles. Delaney danced competitively from the age of seven to eighteen. She has participated in Urbanity Dance Company’s intensive, Urban Legends Commercial Intensive, along with having the opportunity to travel and assist choreographer Christopher Robbins throughout the southeast region. Delaney was invited to apprentice with NAO dance, an improvisation-based company from 2012-2013. She also apprenticed with Red Right Return Dance Company from 2015-2017 and has continued to dance and perform independently with them. In 2017, Delaney moved to Jacksonville, FL to attend Jacksonville University in pursuit of a BFA in Dance, with a minor in Business Administration. While here, she has had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Jennifer Archibald, Brian and Scott Nicholson, Jon Lehrer, Kara Davis, Nicole Spencer, Miguel Perez, along with many others. In Spring of 2018 Delaney was a part of a group selected to represent JU at the Southeast region of the American College Dance Association. Aside from school, Delaney is currently a teacher and choreographer. She was awarded Top Choreographer at Encore DCS during the 2020 competitive season. After graduation, Delaney plans to move to California in hopes of pursuing a professional career in the commercial dance industry.
Meet
Monika
Monika Dowie began dance at the age of 5 at her local dance studio and has been dancing ever since. Monika is specifically trained in ballet for most of her dance career but, has taken tap, jazz and a few hip hop classes along the way. After her local studio closed when she was 12 she started training under Marta Jackson at the Marta Jackson School of Dance. She also danced for her high school dance team and college dance team. When not at the studio Monika can be found spending time with her family; her husband, and 3 daughters. They love to camp and travel. Monika works full time at Wolfson's Childrens Hospital Kids Kare ICU team. She looks forward to each season and every recital to see how hard her classes work and grow.
Meet
Jadie
Jadie has a passion for dancing and has been dancing for the past nine years. For seven of those years, she has participated as a part of the Fabulous Footwork competition team. In 2020, Jadie received a Diamond 1st at Encore Nationals in the senior competitive division and placed 2nd overall out of 56 contestants. At her first appearance in the solo competition at Fusion, she placed 1st in category and 1st overall for her solo. She danced her junior year as a part of the Rhythmettes high school dance team. She loves all forms of dance but especially enjoys hip hop and contemporary. Jadie is excited to teach the shining stars some moves and techniques. She looks forward to having fun with the little ones while dancing!
